Animals And Us
This is a sample email that I send to a few of my friends on my email list regularly. The emails are about life, and the important lessons I learn. Alternatively, you can visit my collection of emails. The address is at the bottom of the page. I sent this to 2 groups of people and you either fall in: 1) My close friend circle 2) People whom I think this will benefit
I would also like to thank Dr. Prem Nath Gupta (from the DynamicBrain Foundation) for joining my email list, I am honoured to have him here :)
I have written to many authors of e-books of manifestation, metaphysics and so on, but only Dr Prem Nath was very open to my ideas and I am very glad to be able to learn from him. For example, I wrote an email to one of the authors of a new e-book but on hearing that I could not purchase his e-book, he did not reply, unlike Dr Prem Nath, who sent me the link to his e-book even before receiving his payment!
DISCLAIMER: This is after all what I think and may not make sense to you, especially if you are a Christian or Creationist. So those of you who have a very strong Christian faith and do not like what you are reading, please delete it. I am not exactly sure that everything written in this email is scientifically accurate, but it just makes sense to me. These are just inferences (though some of the info are from trusted sources)
Dear Friends,
I am really excited about writing this email! I was thinking about the day's events when I was walking home and I realised many things, ideas was just flowing! This interesting email is about our behaviour. It will cover sub-topics like the difference between the attraction of males and females, why there is no such thing as the Devil or Sin, why we do things like wear ankle-socks or spike our hair. I hope that you will enjoy it!
First we will need an intro. Now, we know that we have evolved from ape-like creatures who roamed Africa when they were seperated into 2 groups and the one we came from were forced to walk on their hind legs (the other group became monkeys :) We were once animals, and we still have many animal instincts. To give you an example, we like to hang out in groups [for protection, eg. wolves]. You may not realise it, but many of the things you do is because of Animal Instinct. The things that we have thought and learnt, I will give it a name, and I call it God-like.
To give another example which you may already know, is the difference between the attraction of the male and female. What do boys look for in girls. We generally like a girl because of her looks. That is very simple. We may tell you that we do look for character, but that is usually a lie. In this case, the Animal Instinct wins the God-like. But the reason is why. Girls, or females best give birth when they are below 40 years of age. But males, we can father a baby even if we are 50 years old! So here, boys are attracted to a girl's looks, because looks has a link with youthfulness (that is why in many cultures a 30 year old male can marry a girl half his age). I can verify that this is true, because I am a male. However do remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It depends. What we may view as ugly people may view as beautiful.
But what I learn about how girls are attracted to boys is different. Girls do not like a boy because of his looks. Its more of his behaviour, or his standing in society. As I have already said, males can father babies at a later age. But to whether the child survives or not it depends on his father, how powerful he is in Society! That is why many chiefs and kings can have so many concubines. (I do not know if this is true, because I'm not female, but, can anyone of you girls verify it please?)
You boys may argue that girls may like good-looking actors, but for example, they usually like a particular actor because he gives off charm and is dependable (usually the main character).
And so you learn here why you like a particular person.
Want to continue? Read on.
Animals are very self-centred. They are concerned only about their survival, because if they can survive means that they are fit, and if they are fit then the entire species can thrive. This is the part where I get to, there is no such thing as SIN. There is just God-likeness and Animal-likeness. When some people murder, they usually do it because they are threatened. Same as animals (they attack each other). When I was in NZ there were 2 boys fighting over a girl (like animals) and my Cambodian friend told me they do the same in Cambodia except they shoot each other with guns. No wonder there was a policeman in every school. The strongest guy gets the girl (in animal sense). When animals steal (food), they do it to survive. We've still got the 'stealing' instinct but we do it for the thrill now.
It was all like this in the animal world. But then one scientist found that our one of our early ancestor had a broken pelvis, and yet managed to survive for a few years! This was only possible if someone feeds her, and that was our first step in God-likeness. We learnt to help each other and be kind. And here we are today :)
We intimidate (boys usually, but there is now a beginning in the reversal in roles) other boys because we fight to be the Alpha-Male (like the wolves, yes) All the 'bad' things we do, we can trace them back to our animal roots. We do have a tendency to be cruel, and thats for everyone, even though we try our best to be God-like. That is why there is no such thing as BAD or EVIL or SIN. Geddit!?
Now I would like to talk about why we wear ankle socks and such things. There are basically 2 reasons for this. One, we want to fit into society. Two, we want to make ourselves look good and different. (like peacocks, but now we can't change colour anymore so we just basically change our clothing to make up for this). Anyone who doesn't follow the rules of a group is ostracised and deemed as weird. Its like animals, some of them do get kicked out of a group. We feel strange if we are not with our group of friends, imagine you are a wolf and you run into another pack of wolves (good luck).
The Moral of this email is, as we humans became more civilised we became more and more like God (in the Universal Sense, God is everywhere, in everything and in Us), we learnt different things. The people who were most advanced for a long time were the clerics (religious people). In every culture, priests and the church was the most powerful (think of the church as a big group of people [animal instinct to be in a group] who also wants to be like God) The main thing is, the World has changed and we just can't keep acting as animals anymore. The world is awakening, so please also wake up.
So if we see some people like gangsters or like some people in our school who like to spike their hair, or wear ankle socks and behave in a intimidating and domineering way just think of them next time as giant peacocks walking around, primitive and still haven't learnt the lessons of evolution. Good luck if you try to explain to them why they behave like this (like trying to explain to a peacock why he should not try to show off) prepare to get pecked (or beaten up, in this case).
If you like emails about enlightenment, please visit the collection online at http://emailsfrmaaron.blogspot.com or drop me a line to join my email list. Read about why my dad was posted to a lousy Secondary School but he still became a professor, and many others, like How to Get What You Want [Law of Attraction].
Your friend,
Aaron
P.S When we became more civilised and God-like, I think we began to have a purpose in life. What you want to do in life. Life became more than just surviving and reproducing (though some it is a purpose for some to become a mum). So, do not get too involved in trying to survive (by studying hard and earning lots of money but do not know what to do in life). Strike a balance.
