Hello Friends,


We have heard many many things about money. Some say the love of money is evil, others want money a lot. In fact, if you think about it, maybe you are planning your future about earning lots of cash?

I mentioned in previous emails that we should know what we want. Money is a medium of which we use to achieve our goals. If you question yourself why do you want money, maybe then you will find your goals. For eg., I can ask myself why I want money, is it to start a charity, or to travel around the world? Then these are my goals, not earning money.

The rich and the upper class have a definite advantage. They are exposed to many things, and learn a lot. However, do not be disheartened, because its only because of the troubles that many poor people become rich and wealthy. When I mean 'rich' or 'wealthy' I mean abundance in what they desire, not having a lot of money.

Actually money does bring many troubles. How many families we read about in the newspaper are fighting for their inheritance? Don't think that it can't happen to you. When it comes to money and greed and selfishness, it can happen to anyone and everyone. Inheritance can never be divided equally. Therefore, if this happens next time, I urge you to rather give in and let your siblings get a little more than to quarrel.

Once last year, my brother and I quarrelled about money. And it wasn't about real money even! I wouldn't go into details, but it was one of the fiercest quarrels I had with him. We are usually very close. Or if your parents or grandparents left a house, and then who shall it go to? The eldest? Thats not very fair is it, and that comes to another issue where only males get to carry their family name after they have been married...

I am refusing to inherit my grandparents house because my grandad wanted the house to stay within the family so if I do not have a male child, though I can stay in that house until I die, after I pass away it will be given to my brother's male child (if he has any) I think my parents aren't very happy when I objected to that...haha...I don't care if that house is more than a million dollars, because I am confident that within 5 years [from the day I start to work] I can get a house like that.
If you lend anyone money, and if you do care about the relationship between you, do not expect to get it back. If you do want to get it back, then you must be prepared to forfeit this relationship. It may not make any sense to you now, but I hope you will keep this in mind.

P.S A lot of beliefs concerning money are false. If you do want to make a lot of it you have to stop your negative beliefs like 'Money is hard to earn' and you must start to behave that you do have a lot of it (for eg. buy things of the best quality or value, not the cheapest)
